FIND YOUR PLACE TO SERVE

Whether you love people, kids, coffee, music, or serving our city, there’s a place for you on our team! Most roles are just once a month, training is provided, and you can always “try it out” before making a commitment. Come see how you can make a difference—and have fun doing it!

What will I do? 
prepare meals and distribute food, water, clothing, and hygiene supplies at local parks, offering both practical assistance and the message of hope through conversation and prayer.

What’s my impact? 
You bring friendship, hope, and the love of Jesus outside the walls of the church.

What’s the commitment? 
Meets weekly, commit can vary based on your availability.

What will I do? 
Set up and serve free coffee, donuts, and water in the lobby.

What’s my impact? 
You help people feel cared for and ready to enter worship with joy.

What’s the commitment? 
Arrive 30 minutes before service; serve once a month.

Work in our on-site coffee shop selling and making drinks and snacks.

What’s my impact? 
You create a space where people can connect and feel at home before and after church.

Training provided; serve before one service a month.

What will I do? 
Lead small groups, games, or discussions with school-aged students.

What’s my impact? 
You help students grow in faith and friendships in a safe, encouraging environment.

What’s the commitment? 
Weekly or biweekly opportunities; background check required, training provided.

Midweek Youth Ministry Opportunities:
Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm
       Troops (Pre-K to 5th grade)
       Teen Discipleship (6th-12th grade)
Fridays from 6-8pm
       Teen Night (6th-12th grade)

Team Lead: Melinda Aird, Youth Ministry Lead

What will I do? 
Visit local nursing homes to spend time with the residents, offering a short service and personal connection.

What’s my impact? 
You offer encouragement, prayer and friendship to those who are shut in and who need it most.

What’s the commitment? 
Happens the first Tuesday of every month. Join when you can!

Team Lead: John Luke Osorio, Music Ministry Lead

What will I do? 
Direct cars, keep spaces open for families, and greet guests with a smile.

What’s my impact? 
You create a safe, welcoming first impression before people ever step inside.

What’s the commitment? 
One or two Sundays a month; arrive 30 minutes before service. Cooling vests, shade, and water provided.

What will I do? 
Church at the Kroc believes in the power of prayer whether it's on Sunday morning or throughout the week, pray over our chapel, leaders, and congregation members.

What’s my impact? 
You offer encouragement and intercession at moments when people need it most.

What’s the commitment? 
Varies.

Prayer Opportunities:
•Sundays before each service (8:30-8:45am and 11-11:15am).
•Throughout the week, pray for prayer requests and send a handwritten note (postage provided).
•Events happen throughout the year where this team will have a booth or will be available to pray with whoever needs it.

What will I do? 
Run lights, sound, cameras, or slides during services.

What’s my impact? 
You make worship engaging and distraction-free for everyone in the room and online.

What’s the commitment? 
Serve once or twice a month; arrive one hour before service. Training provided.

What will I do? 
Facilitate discussion, encourage prayer, and help a group grow in faith and community.

What’s my impact? 
You create spaces where people can be known, supported, and challenged in their walk with Christ.

What’s the commitment? 
Weekly or biweekly depending on the group; training and resources provided.

What will I do? 
Care for either little ones (ages 6mos–Kinder) or 1st–5th graders through play, lessons, and activities.

What’s my impact? 
Parents can worship worry-free knowing their kids are safe, loved, and learning about Jesus.

What’s the commitment? 
Serve once a month at either service; background check required (we provide it).

Sunday Youth Ministry Opportunities:
Nursery (ages 6mos – Kinder) – provided during both Sunday School and Worship
Youth (1st-5th grade) – provided during both Sunday School and Worship

Provide live Spanish translation of the sermon through headsets.

What’s my impact? 
You ensure Spanish-speaking guests can fully experience worship.

What’s the commitment? 
Serve on a rotation; training and equipment provided.

Greet people at the doors, hand out bulletins, and help new guests feel at home.

What’s my impact? 
You create a warm, inviting environment where people feel seen and cared for.

What’s the commitment? 
Arrive 30 minutes before service; serve once a month. No experience needed—we’ll train you.
