The Kroc Scholarship Program

The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center is pleased to provide a scholarship program to help provide access to The Kroc Center. It was Joan Kroc's vision and expectation that all individuals have equal opportunities to grow their natural gifts and talents. Scholarships are available for both Gold and Silver memberships. Learn more about the different membership types.

Please Read Before You Apply:

  • Please specify if you are a current member
  • Only 2 adults allowed PER application (EACH adult MUST provide 2 recent pay-stubs OR a W-2)
  • If you have any additional income such as Government Assistance, i.e. food stamps, disability, social security, or child support, please upload that as well.
  • If approved, this scholarship award MUST be claimed within 30 days or you will be subject to re-apply. 
  • Please note that ALL Scholarships must be renewed yearly.

How to Renew Your Scholarship

  1. Download a Scholarship Application or pick one up at The Kroc Center Welcome Desk.

  2. Return your completed application with attached household income verification to the Welcome Desk. Please allow a few days for your application to be reviewed.

  3. If you qualify for a scholarship, you will be notified and membership will be automatically renewed. 

How to Apply for a Scholarship

  1. Download a Scholarship Application or pick one up at the community center Welcome Desk.
  2. Attach all household income verification documents to your completed application. This includes all documents that best reflect the gross annual salary income of all household members: check stubs, unemployment statement, social security, disability incomes, food stamps award letter, alimony, child support income, etc.
  3. Return your completed application with attached household income verification to the Welcome Desk. Please allow a few days for your application to be reviewed.
  4. If you qualify for a scholarship, you will be notified and able to sign-up for your Kroc Center membership. Fill-out the Membership Application Form with your family’s contact information and submit to the Welcome Desk to complete your application.  General membership policies also apply.
