More Information

  • Additional swimmers $5 per person 
  • Children 6 years and younger can swim with one parent and will count as one wristband 
  • Balloons are allowed but must be tied to a weight 
  • Parties are not allowed to extend party times 
  • Parties are not allowed to swim before their party starts
  • Parties are not allowed to stay and swim after their party is over

Reservations & Cancellations

  • Dates will not be held and are on a first-come basis
  • If you wish to book a birthday party you must book 2-3 weeks in advance 
  • To book a party, please fill out and return a birthday party form to the welcome desk
  • Forms can also be downloaded from our website.

What will happen if I should cancel my party?
The following cancellation policy will be followed and enforced:

  • 30 days prior to the booked- 100% refund
  • 3 or more weeks prior to the booked date- 50% refund
  • Up to 7 days- 0% refunds

Kroc Party Policies

  • All parties are subject to availability. All Kroc Center activities are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
  • Party rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, sink, and counter space.
  • You are welcome to bring in your own food and drinks. You will be restricted from bringing any alcohol on the site or in our rooms nor is smoking allowed in or on the premises.
  • The Salvation Army Kroc Center will provide you with a Birthday Party Host to assist with room set up and take down, group check-in and check out and assist with needs or questions you may have during the party.
  • 10% is due at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations made less than 4 weeks prior to the party date are not eligible for a refund.
  • You may choose to transfer to a different date for a $10 Transfer Fee.
  • The Kroc Center reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a party due to unforeseen emergency situations.
  • All prices and rules are subject to change.
  • Guests are responsible for removing gifts, towels, and personal items before the scheduled party time is over.
  • Towels: Request that each of your guests brings a towel with them the day of the party if they plan on swimming.
  • Locks: If planning on storing personal items in the lockers, we recommend you bring a day-use lock with you.

Birthday Party Asked Questions

Upon making your reservation payment of 10% down of the total cost will be due.
The remaining balance is due a week prior to the booked party date.

What are the party times you offer?

  • 4:00pm-7:00pm Fridays
  • 11:00am-2:00pm Saturdays
  • 2:30pm-5:30pm Saturdays

Can I come in early to set-up the room for my party?
Yes, you may come 30 minutes before your scheduled party start time to set-up your room.  After checking in at the front desk please wait in the lobby until your birthday host meets you and directs you to your party room. Please be aware that based on the schedule we may still be setting up your room until the start of your party.

Can we bring food and drinks to our party?
Yes, you may bring your own food and drinks. You will be restricted from bringing any alcohol on the site or in our rooms nor is smoking allowed in or on the premises.

Can we swim before we go into the party room?
No, room times must coincide with our pool schedule.

What will be in the party room when we arrive?
The party room will include tables and chairs for 29 guests, as well as a sink and counter space.

Can we bring in our own party decorations?
Party decorations are permitted i.e. tablecloths, banners, centerpieces, hats, paper plates, napkins, and utensils. The set-up and removal of all decorations will be the guest’s responsibility. Only painters tape may be used to secure decorations. Glitter and confetti are not permitted. Balloons must be tied down to weight prior to entrance into the building. Loose balloons will not be allowed in the building.

Can a party have more than 15 climbers or swimmers?
Additional party guests partaking in swimming or climbing may be included at a cost of $5per person. Please call us for pricing details. Adults accompanying swimmers 6 of age and younger will count as one swim pass. The party room cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of 29 guests in total. Additional space will be a separate charge.

What do I need for a swimming party or climbing wall party?
All swimmers are required to bring their own towel and wear swimming trunks or a swimsuit. No other attire is permitted in the swimming area. Cutoff jeans are not an option. All children under age 3must wear a swim diaper. All children 6 years of age and younger must be within arm’s reach or in close proximity of an adult. One adult may monitor no more than three children in the water. All children who are non-swimmers must use a lifejacket. Lifejackets are provided free of charge, on a first come first serve basis. All climbers must wear appropriate climbing attire including a t-shirt, pants or shorts, and tennis shoes. Dresses, skirts, flip-flops, or bare feet are not allowed. Climbing waivers for all children 17 and under must be signed by parents/guardians. The waiver must be returned to the party host upon check-in. You may download the waiver from our website.

Does my party include any other activities at the Kroc Center?
Your party only includes the activity you have chosen for your party (swimming or rock climbing). If you would like an additional activity or use another part of the facility, please ask your party host at the time of the party booking. Additional fees may apply. Rock climbing is based on availability.

What does the party host do?
A Party Room Host will be available to assist you with the needs you may have during the party, including room set-up and take down, check-in, and check-out.
