Activities for every age!
Our Kroc programs are intended to introduce children to athletic competition in an environment that is safe, supportive, and more concerned with a positive experience than the final score. Our goal is to make sure what may be your child’s first experience in sports is one that they will want to have again. We partner with coaches and parents to make sure that this is the focus at all times. Beyond the game, our goal is to see our community’s children learn the other lessons that competition and commitment provide including, teamwork, respect, accountability, integrity, sportsmanship, and good citizenship.

What To Expect:

First week: Practice will be a skill assessment held by the coaches to equally divide teams. There will NOT be a game.

Second Week: Teams will be assigned at the beginning of practice. There will be a parent meeting once the teams are divided and jerseys will be given to parents immediately after. Games will begin this week!

*All Teams are Final pending Athletic Coordinator’s approval.

Summer 1: June 2 – July 18

Summer 2: August 4 – September 19

KROC Basketball 

The KROC League is designed to help improve basketball skills while emphasizing fun, sportsmanship, hard work, and character development. After the first week of practice, players will be divided into separate teams within their age-group. Competitive balance will be sought while creating each team. Space is limited, for planning purposes team assignments are final.

Ages 4-6: Thursday & Fridays 5pm
Ages 7-8: Thursdays & Fridays 6pm
Ages 9-10: Tuesdays & Fridays 5pm
Ages 11-12: Tuesdays & Fridays 6pm
Ages 13-16: Tuesdays & Fridays 7pm

Intro to Volleyball

This fun and engaging class focuses on teaching the fundamentals of volleyball, including basic skills like serving, passing, setting, and hitting. Participants will learn in a supportive, clinic-style environment that emphasizes skill development, coordination, and teamwork without the structure of teams or games. There will be no jerseys or team assignments—just plenty of opportunities to practice and prepare for the next level of volleyball! Whether your child is eager to try a new sport or build a strong foundation for future play, our Intro to Volleyball program is the perfect place to start.

KROC Volleyball

The program is training-based for new/beginner volleyball players. Each session will be 60 minutes in length - focusing on fundamentals while also introducing players to different drills and game-specific situations.

Ages 9–12  Ages 13–16

Intro to Boxing

Master the fundamental skills of boxing in a program emphasizing conditioning, the technique of striking, footwork, coordination, and agility. Participants will build confidence and discipline that can be applied inside and outside the ring. Hand wraps are required for participation.

Ages 10–13   Ages 14–17

Boxing Level 2

This intermediate class builds on basic boxing fundamentals, focusing on improving technique, strength, and conditioning. Participants will learn advanced footwork, defensive strategies, and combination punches, while also building endurance through challenging workouts. Participants build strength, endurance, and confidence in a supportive environment, perfect for those ready to advance their training. Prerequisite: completion of an Intro to Boxing course or a 15-minute test with a Boxing Coach. *Handwraps are required and can be purchased at the Welcome Desk (supplies limited)

KROC Tot Multi-Sports

A challenge for many parents is knowing which sport their child may or may not be interested in. In the Tot Multi-Sport class, you can sample all of the sports that the Kroc Center has to offer! In this program, your child will be introduced to the following sports: Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football.

Ages 3–5

 

KROC Flag Football

The league will provide youth with a fun and safe recreational flag football program in coordination with USA Football. The first week will meet for a skills combine while our coaches evaluate. Once the combine concludes, each child will be drafted by a coach and placed on a team.

KROC Soccer

This league will provide youth with a fun and safe recreational soccer program. The first week all ages will participate in a combination to show their skills while our coaches evaluate. Once the combine concludes, each participant will be drafted by one of our coaches and placed on a team.

KROC Tee Ball

 Welcome to our Tee Ball program, where young athletes ages 4-7 go on a fun-filled journey into the world of baseball and softball. Held during the fall, winter, and spring seasons, Tee Ball offers children the opportunity to develop essential skills such as batting, throwing, and fielding, all while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. With an emphasis on learning through play, our experienced coaches provide guidance and encouragement every step of the way, ensuring that each child gains confidence and builds a love for the game.

At Kroc Sports Academy, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive environment where athletes of all skill levels can thrive. Our expert coaches are dedicated to helping you reach your full potential, focusing on both individual skill development and team dynamics. Through structured drills, personalized coaching, and competitive gameplay, we ensure that each participant not only improves their abilities but also gains a deeper understanding of their chosen sport.

Are you finally ready to check out America's fast growing and most popular sport? Drop-in for this highly popular activity! Pickleball is a lively paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Play on our gymnasium courts with a solid paddle and a wiffle ball provided by our sports programs (limited equipment available). It's accessible to people of all ages and skill levels. Its fast-paced, strategic gameplay makes it a popular choice for both recreational and competitive players worldwide. Pickleball lines are painted grey.

Adult Basketball League

Get ready to bring your A-game with our brand-new Adult Co-Ed Basketball League! Gather your team and compete 5 vs 5 in a fun, fast-paced league open to active adult players. This program is a great way to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy the excitement of the game. Have a team captain sign up for your team and email your team roster to [email protected].

Roster needs to be minimum 5 people, maximum 10 people. Maximum 12 teams. 
$650 PER TEAM | AGES 18+

Private Youth Sports Lessons

JERSEY POLICY

Due to a generous donation from Spee-D Tees Bar-B-Q, all jerseys (for first-time participants) in the Basketball and Volleyball program will be offered to players free of cost. If a jersey is lost or damaged a $20 jersey replacement fee will be charged.

Join the Volunteer Team 

We need your help! We love offering sports at the Kroc, but it couldn't be possible without our volunteers. Become a coach or referee and may qualify for discounted entry for your child.

Practice and game schedules will be issued after the child is placed on the team. Players will be drafted following the first practice. Before signing up to volunteer, please make sure you're able to attend all practice and games.
